Lake Tahoe
Finally made it to California ! The state line between California and Nevada runs directly through Lake Tahoe - we're staying on the Cali side, but went to Zephyr Cove Beach in Nevada. Took a ride on a catamaran and hung out on the beach a little bit, but I think we're all a little (a lot) tired now. Stayed in a little cabin in a residential area and after looking for bears in the national parks, I almost ran one over coming back from the supermarket. Was stuck in the car for about 10 minutes because I was actually a little concerned he was still hanging around. He was after food and I had some ! Should've had me on video running into that cabin with the groceries - that could have made America's Funniest Home Video's.....
Heading to another one of the greatest places in the US tomorrow........Yosemite National Park.

No picture of the bear? I suppose you were a little preoccupied running away!! Miss you guys, can't wait til you get back! We got the wedding photos and video last week, can't wait to show you!! Live you!
ReplyDeleteI AGREE WITH "GINA" .. NO PICTURE OF THE BEAR .. TO PROVE IT !!! .. GREAT JOB KAYLA ON ALL YOUR PATCHES !!! ... OH .. AND A FOND MEMORIES .. ALL THE LITTLE CASINOS .. EVEN IN THE BATHROOMS WAAAAAY BACK WENT I WAS ON "THE ROAD TRIP" ... : )
