Craters of the Moon

We're on our way to California, but couldn't make it in one day. Along the way stopped at Craters of the Moon National Monument in Idaho. What a cool place with mini volcanoes and lava rocks all over. We looked inside old volcanoes and climbed a small mountain called a cone. Really windy and great views up there.  Kayla this time became a "Lunar" Ranger. Then we headed to Elko, Nevada to stay the night. Best hotel we've been in on the trip. Little mini casinos everywhere in Nevada.  California.....Here we come !!!
